FINALLY!

Hi, friends!
We are so sorry for the lack of updates as of late, but I think we have a pretty good excuse!
There's a bun in the oven!
Yay!
This first trimester has made it next to impossible to keep up with all of our daily tasks and unfortunately, updating out websites fell off of our priority list to make way for more sleep!
But I am nearing the end of the dreaded first trimester and we're back!

Here's just a few of the cute treats we have worked on recently!

These were cupcakes for a baby boy's arrival!
The order came from Israel...cool!

Please excuse the photography on these.
Our photographer (okay...my husband) wasn't home and I had to step in!
Clearly we know who the one with the talent here is...
Anyways, these were for El Toro High School's Dance Team!
Aren't the colors so fun?!

Thanks for having patience while we have been "away"!
More updates to come...

Happy Birthday, Riley!!!

We're so excited to show everyone the newest addition to our menu...MINI CAKES!

This was our very first order for a mini cake and I don't think the theme could have been cuter. I love the idea of having matching cupcakes and cake. We decided to get a little crafty and make a mini cake stand too! Obsessed.
Riley's first birthday party was this past Saturday at a pumpkin patch! The theme was Halloween Hello Kitty (or as we named it...Skello Kitty hehe).

The party was beyond cute and we were so happy to be a part of it!
Stars, bats, Skello Kitty...oh my!

Update :

She is so cute it makes me smile!

Happy Birthday, Peyton!!!

Today is a very special day!

Today, little Peyton turns one! Wow, time really does fly! Seems like yesterday that I was visiting a little 6 pound princess in the hospital for the first time. Now she is well on her way to being a toddler!

Peyton's birthday party was full of family, close friends, and even closer baby friends. It was baby overload! So adorable to watch the little ones play with each other.

The party was Mickey Mouse themed, so of course we had to make cartoon cupcakes for the occassion! The Mickey's were kind of tricky, but I think they turned out pretty cute! And Peyton thought so too. :)

See? Pretty cute...

The party set-up...

The birthday girl and her beautiful Mommy!

Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day girls!

Middle School Fundraiser

My new Sister-In-Law is a teacher at Aliso Viejo Middle School and this past weekend she held a fundraiser for her students. The Sweet Bites helped out and made 10 dozen cupcakes for the occassion!

There were food trucks, shaved ice, glow sticks, and a movie! A super cute movie actually...How To Train Your Dragon. Loved it! And of course most importantly...cupcakes!

Here's a few cute (and a couple nerdy) pictures from the event.

The kids made this cute "tablecloth". How sweet!

(See...told you some nerdy ones!)

Stay tuned for some ultra cute Mickey Mouse themed goodies...coming soon!

Hot Fudge Sundae Cupcakes......Seriously!

Since I can remember I have loved sundaes and cupcakes. A few days ago, I started thinking about a new cupcake to add to our menu and I must have had a stroke of genius because it hit me...a hot fudge sundae cupcake! We made the recipe and baked them today. It's not often that a recipe is perfect the first time around...but this is definitely the exception. I can't get over it. They are so delish. I nearly fell on the floor after eating the first bite. And trust me I didn't stop after one bite...I might be guilty of eating 3 whole cupcakes! I couldn't help myself!

If you still don't believe me about the deliciousness of these cupcakes, listen to this. We had some of the samples sitting on the counter when the dishwasher repair man stopped by. We offered him a cupcake (figure it's the least we can do!)...and immediately after eating it, he ordered a dozen! Before the flavor was "officially" on the menu...we sold them!

The cupcake consists of vanilla cake, topped with chocolate ganache, vanilla buttercream, rainbow sprinkles, and a cherry!

I'm telling you...TO DIE FOR.
